All PDF processing happens server-side using a secure pipeline. Your file is uploaded, processed, and the result is sent directly back to your browser. Files are not retained after the operation finishes. For documents containing sensitive or confidential information, nothing persists on any server after your download begins.
Merge PDF files online for free
The PDF merge tool combines two or more PDF files into a single document in any order you choose. Upload up to 20 files, each up to 50MB, drag them into the correct order, and download the merged result in seconds. This is one of the most common PDF tasks in professional environments and is needed constantly when consolidating reports, combining signed contracts with cover letters, assembling multi-section documents, or gathering scanned pages into a single file for submission.
Merged PDFs download as a single file with all pages in the order you specified. The original files are not modified. Page numbering, formatting, images, and embedded fonts from each source document are preserved in the merged output.
Split PDF and extract page ranges
The PDF split tool extracts a specific range of pages from a document and saves them as a new PDF. Upload your file, specify the from-page and to-page numbers, and download the extracted section. This is useful when you need to share only a portion of a large report, extract individual invoices from a combined statement, separate chapters from a long document, or divide a multi-section PDF into standalone files for different recipients.
Rotate PDF pages
Documents scanned at the wrong orientation are a common frustration. The rotate tool corrects pages that are sideways or upside down without affecting any other aspect of the document. The delete pages tool removes specific pages from a document without affecting the rest of the content. Extract text from a PDF
The extract text tool pulls all readable text from a text-based PDF and downloads it as a plain text file. This works on PDFs that contain actual text content rather than scanned images of text. Use cases include extracting content for editing in a word processor, pulling data from a PDF for import into a spreadsheet, or copying large amounts of text that cannot be selected and copied from the PDF viewer directly. The extracted text file downloads with the same name as the source PDF.
Password protect and unlock PDFs
The protect tool adds a password to any PDF so that recipients must enter the password before the document can be opened. The unlock tool removes the password from a PDF you own by entering the current password, producing an unprotected version of the file. Both tools are useful in environments where PDF documents contain sensitive information and access needs to be controlled.
